Chronic Pain

Joshua Stone 1987 (Portsmouth, Virginia)

I live with pain,
Pain lives with me,
Only that I see,
This is a catastrophe,
I hurt and dwindle,
Rolling down like a spindle,
Time only tells,
How much I scream and yell,
Pain overburdens me,
This many people can't see,
I hurt so many ways,
I hope this doesn't stay,
This will only get in my way.
