Analysis of Empty promises

You promised me
To play with me hockey
You promised me
To buy me a rake
You promised me
To teach me how to bake
You promised me
A heart shaped X-Mas cake
You promised me
Specially cooked mandrake
You promised me
To take me to the Kindaruma lake
You also promised me
Not to meet the promises if I reminded you
‘The empty promises you make!’
