Analysis of To love, is to Give

Nazura Mohamad 1973 (Selangor)

To love is to give, without asking one to understand
why our actions are sometimes weird and one kind
To love is to sacrifice, without asking anything in return
because sometimes, love is already returned and given
by her warm smile on a beautiful day
and our eyes met in a meaningful way

Nazura Mohamad

Nazura Mohamad was born on 16th May 1973, (the same date and time like Tori Spelling) in Selangor, Malaysia. She studied Literature, Business Management and working as a professional civil servant in Malaysia with some experiences as teaching, and working on creative artworks such as theatres, visual arts and scriptwriting. She believed in being a liberal, but a practicing muslim and does not support radicalism of any faith or political or social doctrines. It was believed that she had many lovers, but she prefers to live and regard relationships as private, mysterious, yet, sacred. Some issues highlighted was about her sexual orientation, including an Oedipus Complex and opposite attracts relationship with a distant relative, there were questions regarding her gender. However, it is also believed that many of her literary works were inspired by her relationships with certain individuals, including portraying her feelings of love, compassion and humanity towards troubled and marginalized societies such as sexual workers, unwanted and undocumented children or refugees, homeless, poor, doomed and damned societies, while quietly inserting sarcasms in her works against the injustice of political feuds, radicalism and oppression of the poor, minors, wallflowers, social bullies, victims of extreme capitalism and cruel powers. more…
