Analysis of Death
Without a history,
It’s a mystery.
We all know it’s certain,
When or how is uncertain.
For some, it is a fright
That makes them hold on tight.
Others choose to conceal what’s real,
Deny what they feel.
A few say it’s a curse,
Prepare for the worst.
We all have to admit,
We are all bound to it.
No matter how much we strive,
No one will leave this world alive.
In this life nothing is permanent,
Not even a given moment.
It’s everyone’s reality.
It gives meaning to our mortality.
It is life’s ultimate truth,
There is no substitute.
Let us all live for the moment,
In the moment and by the moment.
