Analysis of Alone and free
Tihani Waipapas 1987 (Hawaii)
In the morning she wakes,
She wipes the tears away,
Puts a smile on her face,
Pretends everythings okay,
All around her is darkness and pain,
The voices in her head are screaming always,
Her insecurities weigh her down,
Her laugh is contagious but,
It's as fake as her smile,
Broken and unapologetic,
She holds the door open to all,
Knowing they will come but,
They will also leave,
Cold and alone is she,
And that's okay because,
At least they aren't adding to her pain.
