Analysis of MERELY MORTAL
alexis karpouzos 1967 (Αθήνα)
Merely mortal, my clay,
With it an idol immortal,
our little life is but a gust of wind,
that bends the branches of the tree
and trails its blossoms in the dust
so, if I can stop one Heart from breaking
i shall not live in vain,
i will live in the mercy of forgiveness.
