Analysis of I'm Sorry

I'm sorry for all the times I never made love to you because now I want to more than ever
I'm sorry for all that I put you through
Because now the moments gone forever
I'm sorry for all the bitching you had to hear
I was just under a lot of stress
I'm sorry for every shed tear
But you caused them to fall no less
I'm sorry we can't be a family again
I guess it wasn't something you wanted
I'm sorry for every smile or grin
Or the laughter because the pain I hid
I'm sorry that I'm telling you now because it's too late
I just need to get this out
I'm sorry for all the times I made you wait
Well I tried to figure my life out
I'm sorry for all the yelling we've done
It didn't make things better between me and you
I'm sorry my heart is holding this gun
this poem I put a bullet through
I'm sorry that I'm still in love and you are in my soul
True love is hard to erase
I'm sorry you are the person that makes me whole
But from my heart your love I can't erase
