Analysis of Let me go
Let me go
My eyes can still see through yours.
Still running in my thoughts like their yours.
I hear inner voices speaking nothing, but your name.
All I could remember is that you were seeking a fame.
Why do you always have to play the game?
I guess all I was after, was the flame.
But who’s there to blame.
Let me go.
You were truly mine, But perhaps not mine to keep.
But I still insisted, To keep on keeping it on going. That was the pain piercing through my heart, depressing.
I thought of loving somebody, But you still had my heart.
Every time I lay a hand to feel my heart, it tells me that I’d still fall for you, Very hard.
I truly cherished you like a night cherishes the stars.
A new day has come, Let me go.
Let me go.
I was so high in love with you, like there was no gravity.
My intentions for you were so pure, like a Milky Way.
I loved you so good in every good way, Let me go. Let me go.

About this poem
This is based on moving on. Two people were in a relationship and they broke up while one still too attached, even trying to fall inlove but still missing that thing they've had, and now it's about time for a new transition. Letting it all out.
