Analysis of We Only get to Watch
Watching our children's growth,
It's a most amazing sight,
It seems they were one yesterday,
And twenty-one tonight.
They learn many things,
At a most astonishing pace,
As if being a child,
Is an unstoppable race.
And everything they see and do,
While bouncing off the walls,
Is absorbed throughout each day
Before the night time falls.
We enjoy watching our children,
As their day goes slower and slower
That’s when all the trouble begins
Because now play time is over.
