Analysis of I Can't Love a Wall
Sarah Rayan 1982 (Kuwait City)
If you ever told me, you loved me, when I felt under attack, you don't love me at all, and I can't love you back or love a wall, as a matter of fact, I can't love a wall, against me the odds are stacked
You tell me to dive deeper, then say I swim much too slow, and you'd rather see me crawl, than ever let me go, but I can't love a wall, this much I know, I can't love a wall, but in my dreams, I love you so
You want me to remember what I want to forget, with no proof I felt so small, and no other regrets, in terms of loving a wall, I lost every bet, no, I can't love a wall, until the moon and sun sets
