Analysis of The Best Me I can be
Jeffrey Hopkins 1959 (Bay Shore, NY)
The Best Me I Can Be
To be the best me, that you’ll ever see,
Could take a full lifetime of trying.
But to get there today, when folks will say “Hey,
Have you seen what this mortal is buying?”
He’s purchasing patients, it’s sprinkled with drive,
He desires to be mighty humble.
He strives to admire, to dream and inspire,
And knows it’s OK if he fumbles.
When he dreams he can know,
He can certainly go,
To a place where his dreams can shine through.
I can do it you see, by believing in “me”,
As I see this belief coming true.
