Analysis of This Isn't Fair
This isn’t fair
And I want you here.
I miss you terribly
But we’re separated.
This isn’t fair
And all of this is stupid,
This mess we’re in.
I’m sorry I put all of us
Through this darkness.
I long to see you again
This isn’t fair.
What we have
To go through
Because of me
Just isn't fair.
I don’t know a time when
I’ll finally see you again
And this isn’t fair.
And now because of me,
You’re gone
And far away from me.

About this poem
When I wasn't allowed to see or contact my older brother for nearly 2 years, I didn't get to say goodbye to him. It was an awful situation and it affected me a lot.
