Analysis of Bleeding Ukraine
Luke Blossom 2009
Wildfires burning,
Smell of smoke concerning,
The pain saved for later,
And the corruption of a dictator.
Explosions ear-splitting,
Soldiers rage-filling,
The awful invitation,
Of a country invasion.
“Help!”
“Help!”
“Somebody help!”
“Someone please, free me from this cross!”
Words I hear,
From the distance of poverty,
From what was once peaceful,
Now broken, by the almighty.
Kaboom!
Kabam!
Kablast!
Kablam!
Explosions everywhere,
‘Till there’s nothing left, sadly.
Ukrainians suffering,
Ukrianians dying.
I stumbled upon a family,
A husband, a wife, and three children,
Looked morbidly twisted,
Like a broken piston.
“Please help us.”
“Putin is coming.”
“The Soviets are back.”
“Please…don’t slack.”
A overwhelming fear,
Very, very clear,
Covering me in all sides,
Knowing that there are very few lives.
Then, I saw a tank,
A enormous tank,
And on top of it,
Was a Russian assassin.
I run for dear life,
But the tank has other plans,
In other words, To kill me,
Along with their clans.
And then, that was it,
I’m dead, I’m dead,
Time to accept my fate,
I’m dead, I’m dead.
