Analysis of Goodbye
“You’re not going to be here next year,” I said,
Over and over inside my head,
While most others yell “I’m excited for the school year to end!”
That is a day I dread and I dread,
All these memories you gave me,
And all the feelings you can’t see,
Goodbye,
I won't cry,
There’s a chance,
I’ll see you again,
I’m telling you this in advance,
I hope I remember what we have been,
But until then…
Goodbye,
