Analysis of Earth

All the years we mined up coal,
processing and industry took its toll.
Decades of commitment to non-stop refining,
contributed to our gas levels climbing.
Abused it, overused it, left it bare.
Polluted with gases congesting the air.
Resulting from letting our own problems sit,
Earth is now dead, and we have killed it.
