Analysis of Summer Despair
On this hot summer day,
I still feel cold,
‘Cuz this sadness just won’t go away.
Sitting right by the bay,
My joy continues to grow old
On this hot summer day.
Yellow has turned gray,
My emotions are bold,
‘Cuz this sadness just won’t go away.
Positive, I try to stay,
Because it’s a solution, at least as I was told
On this hot summer day.
All my peers go out to play,
But I don’t feel as gold
‘Cuz this sadness just won’t go away.
So as the Sun sets today,
So does my joy become old
On this hot summer day
‘Cuz this sadness just won’t go away.
