Analysis of What Do You See?
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
I am looking at someone who looks just like me
From her head to her toes she’s a little dirty
She needs to be washed to get rid of her stains
If she opens her mind I just might wash her brains
I also see someone who is stuck on the phone
They don’t have time to talk so I’ll leave them alone
And I also see someone who fell on the floor
So, I picked them back up and I opened the door
I told them what Jesus was doing for me
And they asked me sir; how can we be set free?
I told them call Jesus you won’t need a phone
He’ll come and he’ll save you and he’ll take you back home!
