Analysis of A Smiling Face
George Cook 1934 (Lanarkshire)
Much more pleasing just to see
A smile on someone’s face
Than that of grief or sorrow
Or any other case
Next time you are feeling low
Though hard maybe to do
Make the effort, raise a smile
And folks will smile at you
