Analysis of The Prince of Orange
Behold the Prince of orange, the peaches sang to me, while starlings intently foraged beneath the apple tree. Your garden is forbidden. The autumn wind, he sighed, to carry through the winter. The whole thing is just a lie. You're wrong, I said to the autumn wind, nothing further from the truth. The garden has taught me secrets, has fed me since my youth. True, the biting winter cold will raise it to the ground. But the garden is now a part of me. To its survival, I am crowned. In spring I will so it's fertile seed from the bounty in my storage. For now, I said to the autumn wind, behold the Prince of Orange.
