Analysis of we grew like wildflowers under the rising sun

i look up and see stars on my ceiling

☆
laying here i feel the weight of my feelings
outer space says that this is letting go

✧    ✧     ✧
i know that if destiny allows it to be, you will find me under a tree breathing in everything
if only the sky would tell me what you truly think of me

i probably should let go of this wonder, but i wish the stars were the stars we were under.

About this poem

something i wrote laying on my bed about reminiscing an old lover and letting myself know that this is out of my control and even if things didn't work out, my life isn't ruined. I still can reside in a safe place within myself without worry.
