Analysis of GOODBYE TIME

 It's your life,
Guess you needed a change.
  You put one in my heart,
At close range.

The dreams we shared,
They never came true.
  I guess you were bullshitting,
When you said, " I Love You".

I knew when we met,
It was marriage or murder.
  I believed we had the
Perfect merger.

I remember you,
Staring off into space.
  You were plotting,
Your change of pace.

It was hard to swallow;
I don't matter anymore.
  You said forever;
I remember, you swore.

For you the feeling,
It is no longer there.
  I had no time to
Think or prepare.

If I would have known,
That it ended like this.
  I would have never allowed
Our lips to kiss.

It was not because
You wanted to be free.
  You went with him
Instead of me.

Just like that,
You change your mind.
  I guess for you,
It was GOODBYE TIME.
