Analysis of The feelings i felt

Proud, protective and happy, are the feelings I felt.
sometimes to much, sometimes not enough.
But they were always there, like you were for me throughout.

You made me feel more,
you made my feel comfortable and sure,
Knowing I couldn't ask for anything more perfect than you.

But I never said, now wish I were dead,
keep letting it replay in my head.
would it have been different if I said first,
I always had the thirst, but not to give you the hurt.

But now I see that reflection of me, shaking my head in disappointment and shame,
knowing I lost my winning piece of this game we call life.

but t'was no game with you in my life, just love and affection,
But now just feelings of rejection.
