Analysis of I Choose You

Kenan Timmons 1983 (Columbia)

Out of all the women in the world
I choose you
Not because I am out looking
But because you’re genuine and true

I choose you my dear
To ease my hurt and pain
One man’s loss
Is certainly another man’s gain

Choosing you
Has made my life complete
Nothing will make me more happier
Than the first time we meet

When I chose you
I chose joy and peace
The way I feel about you
Will never ever cease

You are the perfect choice
No man can ever deny
The love that I will have for you
Is one that will never die
