Analysis of Salad Days

The tomatoes blush with joy upon seeing you pass by
Afternoon, setting sun, summer dress, silhouetted thigh
Garden vines sway as you sing sweetly in the coastal breeze
Ripened fruit, softer light, tender hands, salad days are these

The red chilies simmer and smirk with anticipation
Warm wind, tossed hair, slow saunter, spicy flirtation
Errant limbs caress upward, you aim for nourishing light
Fresh yields, torrid taste, indelible burn, wise not to bite

The yellow bell peppers beam brightly in your company
Laughing moon, early rise, bright eyes, heavenly symphony
Humming calmly, you consider confections herbaceous
Bounty rich, day dims, carnal crop, appetite rapacious
