Analysis of Rising Sun
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
I did not go west for fame or fortune
I did not go west to find my portion
I will not go north so I will be strong
I will not go south to do what is wrong
But I will go east to Jerusalem
Yes, I will go east to be with Him
I will run toward the rising Son
I’ll run to God the Only One
This is a sign to give you light
To help us all to do what’s right
