Analysis of The Grieving Daughter
She told her daughter she hated her & wished she was never born She didn't even care that her child's heart was torn She blamed me for all of her heartache & pain Did she realize emotional abuse is what drove me insane As young as I was, She said I was the reason, she wanted to die Slit wrist in front of me when I was 5 years old This hurt me cuz I was a child All I wanted was love But all I ever got was constant rejection, Feeling like a lost child When I needed her She treated so rough Wondering why my existence caused my mother so much pain, I'm glad I was taken away I couldn't take the abuse
