Analysis of ABBA

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

And the lot will be cast
But God’s will is done
But the battle must be fought
And the victory is won

For it has been written
And it all comes to be
That the one Jesus loves
Has obeyed His decrees
Ever dressed in clean linen
Ready still now to fight

As he stands in the field
Living now clothed in Light
Let the trumpets sound forth

It is now time to shout
So, your enemies will know

You are now in God’s house
On the mountaintops shining
Until He has come
Rejoice now in your victories
See the battles He won

It has always been the Lord’s battle to fight

May the God of Israel bless you
