Analysis of The Great I Am
From the mountains above
And the valleys below,
I see all Gods children
Gather 'round His heavenly throne.
I look to the North
I look to the South
I look to the East
And I look to the West
All I can see is the Lord's glory
Shining about like a never-ending love story.
Jesus said "there is no pain, there is no more sorrow,
There is no today, there is no tomorrow.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I am The Great I Am!!"

About this poem
Written in 1993 while a sophomore at Silver High School in Silver City, NM--while riding home on the school bus at the end of the day. This poem speaks of the glorious day when we, all Gods children are gathered together and finally enter into His presence. Oh what a Glorious day that will BE!
