Analysis of Untitled 02
Benjamin Brantley 1984 (Winston-Salem, North Carolina)
Butterflies and fairies to keep you safe from harm
A bracelet 'round your ankle for a lucky lover's charm
Starlight showers, moonlit flowers, goldfish in a pond
A warm and cuddly teddy bear who'll never leave your arms
A breeze of kisses, soft and gentle, thoughts and wishes, sentimental
Time for teardrops falling is now gone...and all the happy things into your life come with the dawn
Horses prancing, lovers dancing, serenade and lullaby
Shall set your heart upon a cloud
As seasons change with turning tides
and though the days may pass with splendor,
all things gently drifting by.
To you, I can only, this impart.
A warm embrace, an affectionate kiss, and a special place within my heart.
