Analysis of Dad!

Vedika Brijwasi 2004 (Latur)

The day I was born
He became a father
His unconditional love for me
Made his heart softer

I rode on his back
Sometimes he became a train
He never uttered a word
Though he had a very bad sprain

With my growing age
My tantrums increased
But his love for me
Never decreased

From the wrath of my mother
He always saved me
Cause his little girl getting scolded
He could never see

He couldn’t see my eyes
Full of tears
He motivated me
To overcome my fears

Seeing me sad
He made a funny face
Wiping my tears
He said, “Life is a race.”

He never wanted
My smile to be lost
Cause for him
It had a really high cost

What you are for me
I can’t express
How much I love you
I can never confess.
