Analysis of The man

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

The man is coming to bring me down the man in this winter blizzard says he does not like my kind

The man who is dressed in such a depressing shade of blue shoots his mouth off barking orders at me like a dog barks a cat up the tree

The man says I am trouble maker that I am going to jail and there will be no bail, what did I do to provoke him it was just a deadhead and a bad cop no doughnut sticker on my car hey johnny law you are taking this shit to far. I did not speak my views on such topics as homosexuality or politics the sergeant was not up for small talk that night and my charm was not working

I did not tell this little Hitler wanna-be how at an older age than most boys I lost my virginity to my best friend's sister and how until that moment when I screamed with such sexual relief that my hands use to be covered with blisters

I did not tell this son of bitch with his chest pushed out and gut pushed in how she was such a good lay and we would still be up dancing and singing to Jerry if we were not so high tripping balls and she had to go back to college the next day
By my piercings and storytelling ink you can not tell what kind of person I am but my own the man has me in his filthy prison cell alone and I have the God damn munchies and cotton mouth after I just rolled that bone
