Analysis of Slow and Steady

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Do you know the speed,
At which you eat,
Affects your own digestion?

So, make it slow and indiscreet
Avoid the indigestion.
The Word of God is faithful
And it’s there to see you through!

So, don’t go rushing through it!
Like you’ve got something to prove.
