Analysis of Locked Within Limits

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Locked within limits.
Permitted to live them.
Feeling protected and safe.
And admit,
This returns...
A comfort to depend upon.
Without experiencing disappointment.
Or heartbreak.
Is a choice to choose,
For anyone to make to live and exist.
Free and this kept to believe,
They have successfully created...
Their own reality.
Distant and away from reality for what it is.

If...
Only they could stop,
Claiming to place blame...
On others.
Others who feel,
Risks and chances they take to explore.
Much more there is to life to live,
Than sitting behind...
Closed and locked doors.

Then to say and wonder why to themselves,
Happiness and love to find...
Is not theirs,
Anywhere around them found.
Like those lucky enough,
Who seem to have nothing on their minds...
To complain and whine about!
Every hour of every day.
Sitting with wishes to want to have someone,
At least agree to see their point of view!
