Analysis of My Greatest Treasure

If you would only once more hold my hand,
Then I could die a happy man.
Or only once more stroke my face,
Then I could find my resting place.

But it remains I must still work,
So, Lord, help me, not be a jerk.
Might I just speak the truth in love?
And fix my eyes on what’s above.

Just let me live to worship you.
That’s all I really want to do!
And be obedient in my ways,
Until I see my judgment day.

When I can feel your sweet embrace!
I don’t desire to have a taste;
Of any other earthly pleasure,
To be with you; my greatest treasure!
