Analysis of Thank God
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
For those of faith who remain brave,
In the face of opposition.
That seems the only mission,
To destroy the blessing...
Of humanity to witness,
This to receive and get.
Thank God.
Our Creator of it.
Thank God,
For those awakened to acknowledge...
Negative forces supporting to endorse,
An evil of deceiving ways.
To enforce many unconscious to accept,
Without it to question...
Each step taken to delude and dismiss truth.
With a doing to disbelieve,
Themselves to be used as tools.
After being made fools.
Too blind to see fiction is not reality.
Thank God,
For those chosen and picked...
To sacrifice their lives.
Whether to know or not why,
Their choice to live selfishly...
In their minds does not exist.
Or this to want as a wish.
Thank God.
For those who stay to remain brave.
Since if not for them,
There would be no examples...
Of what it means to value,
A fighting against...
Evil to solicit it.
Dressed to impress as a must have to get.
Leaving to receive,
Misery left.
Living for all to feel threatened to expect,
The presence of truth...
With evidence and facts of it.
Will eventually seduce and purposely remove,
Fiction to delude.
And a way of life,
Including division, bigotry, hatred and racism.
Nolonger to exist to prioritize why,
What other reason for many there is to live!
Thank God,
For those who stay to remain brave.
Doing their best,
To make peace...
Not an exception but a rule to accept.
As a normal way of life to live.
Regardless who objects to expect,
Enemies to make and defeat them.
PEACEFULLY!
Is the only way to show,
Who has the power and where it is known!
'But...
What then will we do with our weapons?
We have a need to use them.'
'On who for what reason and why?'
'We have the right to be entitled.'
'I see.
Would that be on yourselves to use,
As targets to practice?
Or...
Keep them stored and locked away.
But that 'itch' kept to pull the trigger,
Remains to stay as a wish...
To release the power from it you get!'
'Oh?
I see.
You're one of those 'liberal livers'.'
'I...uh...
Thank God.'
'I too thank God.
For providing my mouth with 'backup!'
