Analysis of SHE LEFT
Muhonja nonstop 2002 (Uasin Gishu)
The sun shone to burn the velds
Scalp the kelps and the woods
Light cried through the brushes at the fields
No green grass was safe
"She has gone"
Many told among themselves
And if so, she has died by now
They followed to bring her back
All they did was to come back hollowed out
Sun screamed , shouted over their heads
Turned them pale and white
She did not come back
The man mattered
"The sun is good, there will be no more quarrels."
