Analysis of The Weight of Insecurity
Grant Lancaster 2005 (Noblesville, Indiana)
A weight on the mind.
All eyes watching, all the time.
Fearful of all the reactions,
Failure in every little action.
The anchor sank me to dissatisfaction.
Tired of this pain,
My brain is decaying,
Heart is racing,
I need to make a change.
I wear a mask of confidence,
All they see is joy.
I feel a difference.
My mind is constantly training,
Wisdom I am attaining,
So why is it still raining.
