MY REFLECTION
AS I SIT BY THIS BEAUTIFUL CRYSTAL POOL,
MY THOUGHTS SEEM TO TRAVEL AFAR.
IT’S HARD FOR ME TO LOOK BACK TO THAT BEAUTIFUL POOL.
FOR YOU SEE, ONLY A WRINKLED FACE OF A OLD FOOL DO I SEE.
BUT WAIT, WHAT DO I SEE? OH NO, FOR IT CAN’T BE!
HOW YOUNG, HOW BEAUTIFUL THE FACE I SEE. BUT HOW CAN THAT BE?
ONLY THROUGH MY MINDS EYE DO I SEE THIS REFLECTION, BEAUTIFUL, YOUNG IS SHE. OH YES IT’S ME. ONLY IN JEHOVAHS GODS NEW SYSTEM WILL I SEE, NOT OLD AND GRAY WILL I BE, ONLY YOUNG AND, HEALTHY AND BEAUTIFUL WILL I BE.
THE REFLECTION IN THAT NEW SYSTEM GOD HAS PROMISED ME WILL I SEE——
MY REFLECTION YOUNG, HEALTH AND BEAUTIFUL I’LL ALWAY BE , FOREVERMORE AND A DAY.

About this poem
It came to me looking at the stars one night. This is how I really felt deep in my heart. I hope it inspires other’s to write down how they feel about things. That’s where the most beautiful poetry comes from. Especially when you have God backing up what you write about.
