Analysis of The Narrow Gate

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Jesus you’re in this all the way.
And I will love You every day.

You’ve been with me right from the start.
And I will love You with all my heart.

So, help me toward my goal I pray.
And please don’t ever go away.

I need You now more than ever Lord.
Without You I can’t be restored.

Though your life was precious You gave it up.
So, I would no longer be corrupt.

Now my heart, my mind and my soul I bring.
To give to You as an offering.

I know its not much but it’s all I can do.
As I live to worship and honor You.

So please accept these from my hand.
My life is Yours; I’m just a man.

Teach me Lord; show me Your ways.
So, I will never go astray.

I want to enter through the narrow gate.
It’s there for You I’ll always wait!
