Analysis of Happy Ending

Let me say my last goodbyes
For when u awake , you won't hear me call
For tomorrow I'll remain an illusion, you can't recall
Tomorrow,  you'd know nothing at all
Tomorrow, you may lose it all

For tomorrow will be your victory & my deep  fall
For the night won't last too long
Let's pretend it meant nothing at all
Forgive me that this love couldn't go on

But tomorrow at dawn , you'll find new hope
It will hurt a lot less and you wouldn't want to elope .

Promises turned to ashes, times slipping away
It's my turn to vanish away

I loved you and you watched me burn
A delusional fairyland turned into a ghost town

So, tomorrow when I'm gone , and the darkness seems to crawl
Don't look for me ! The chair's empty in the dining hall

But if you'd call out my name , you'd find me in the corner of ur heart
It's a comfortable place , I'm glad to be a part

No longer you need to wait for me
No longer do you have to pave a way for me
Hold onto me tight
Until I hit the ground

Fulfil my last wish and pretend I didn't exist
Watch me glow from above, call out on a shooting star
Wish on me ; your stargirl

For tomorrow at dawn I would be long gone
Tomorrow at dawn , you'd know nothing at all
Tomorrow at dawn, I'll remain a memory engraved on this wall.

About this poem

I wrote this poem on a gloomy night , had thoughts rushing my mind. I envisioned a story in mind of unrequited love, loss and a trageic ending with a little bit of suspense.
