Analysis of numb heart

Many make eye contact with me in the day,
But my beats slow when I feel you stare.

It makes my mind go numb,
Breaks the rhythm of breaths,

You are what the writers call a forbidden romance ,
Cause you willing gave your heart to someone else,

I yearn, pine and wait for you to be mine
But slowing it makes me think I am wasting my time,

Oh! will you ever approach,
oh when will you make my hope get lost.

All in all I wanna say is,
The guy I like makes no contact ,
If only I was bold enough to take the first step,
I would have made sure to run my hands through your hair.

Makes no sense to revisit those times,
Cause my heart is already in pieces,
And you didn’t even notice,
Makes me sad that I never had your time.
