Analysis of Dead or Alive

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

Someone remembers everyday,
That child that die and went away.
Those ignorant pricks and bastards too,
Who claim to be the holy Jews.

The chosen folks of God Most High,
But in their hearts, they know they lie.
With many words they praise The Name,
And then go out and defile the same.

Inside the assembly, not hot or cold,
They think themselves to shine as gold.
Though God prepared a feast for them,
I doubt He’ll even let them in.

They will not eat the Word or write;
They will not take a single bite.
They’re too consumed with pleasure and wealth,
To focus on their spiritual health.

If they would turn just and come back,
There’s nothing in this life they’d lack.
That child that died, could that be you?
Then listen to a word that’s true.

Your Father loves you very much!
Come back to Him and feel His touch.
The life He offers will never end,
When Jesus Christ calls you His friend.

But not so for the synagogue of Satan,
Whose lives are marked by lying and hating.
Their fiery deaths are just and right,
Trapped now by darkness, they’ll have no light.
