Analysis of My angel
May 13th.
I saw you the day before.
The screams and loud cries are something I’ll forever hear.
Right then I could feel your spirit near.
So far away before I could say good bye. Now looking up in the sky just to tell you hi.
I love you forever.
Started out being my dad
to now being my angel.

About this poem
I lost my dad in 2017, and I wasn’t sure how to deal with it. I didn’t talk about it much but I always used writing as a way to cope with the loss
