Analysis of God, Why Am I Lonely?
L. Susan Warner 1956 (Iowa)
Why do I feel so lonely?
Why do I feel so alone?
Is it because I don't love myself,
or is it because I don't know love?
Do I need to become a better Christian,
so I know how loved I am?
Please tell me God, I need to know.
Why do I feel so lonely?
Why do I feel so alone?
I can change and try to love others more.
But will they love me in return?
No one has shown me a greater love God.
Only you can love me more.
So, if you can forgive me,
I will strive to love myself more.
Then I will not feel lonely,
and I won't feel alone anymore.
