Analysis of Moving On From You

Kimberly Tenold 2008 (Missouri)

Moving on from you
has put my heart to a test
Found the trigger to my happiness
And shot it down the drain
Got me crying alone in the dark
Slipped right through your arms
Sleeping by myself
With only the thought of you
Keep me warm all night
Hold me tight like I want you to
Seems everything reminds me of you
All of my feelings are still true
The blue of your eyes
I now feel in my heart
Hands I wish I could feel on me
Now push me away
Keep me at a distance
Keep yourself safe
'Cause my love could never stay
