Analysis of The Little Girl Inside

Nancy RODRIQUEZ 1965 (Temple)

Sometimes the little girl inside,
needs affirmination,
for a long time she has had to hide,
until her dreams come into fruition,
She has tried to allow her conscious to be her guide,
keeping everything in check,
though she would often slide,
off the path, and forget,
and she has hated to compete at any level,
it has always been as if fighting the devil,
to get her point across at-least,
while her desires have not been complete,
the love inside her heart knows not any boundaries,
she rejects thoughts of not being good enough,
and resolves to change her flaws,
at times it has been rough,
getting back up after many falls,
and pushing ahead with all of her might,
knowing another day is for the fight,
another dream is in sight.
