Analysis of My Hope
Nicolas Simpson 1983 (Illinois)
With the compassion I have,
And expression of my life skills,
I should become the happy man with a shave,
But within it still kills,
Taking chances of what I got,
Can't believe I got shot,
Protecting my family,
I sacrifice my life for them,
And all I got is thrown in prison for something I didn't do,
But I'm letting the big man decide what I need to do,
Pleading guilty to something it takes a big toll on me,
It tears me up in inside,
Makes me wanna cry,
So I can mend,
Mend with my kids again........
