Analysis of Moon Of Tomorrow

Charles Edward York 1966 (Saigon, Vietnam)

Moon Of Tomorrow

I see you so beautiful and shapely
Clear in the night sky
Shining your moon glow
Above me as if smiling
I feel the urge to touch you
So your silvery kindness
Could illuminate me
And make me feel like a star.

You float above me in splendor
Suspending your serenity
By calming me inside
You give me peace
And restore my place
In a world of darkness
Removing my melancholy
As the night twinkles and ripples.

I remember how you follow me
As I walk beneath you
So way up high and here I am
Basking in your light below
Because of your luminosity
Hope goes with my feet
As I lay down to dream
Getting up for better tomorrows.
