Analysis of Your Lioness Roar

Charles Edward York 1966 (Saigon, Vietnam)

Your Lioness Roar

As if by some miracle of magic
Your face appears as stars
And your vibrant voice
Captivates and calls me
Come pay attention
Your words, so compelling
Draw me near to you
I savor your sweetness
And become satiated
You are connecting
My soul by surprise
I marvel at your sound,
Seduced by your poetry
You stir my senses
With subtle sensuality.

As if by secret you capture me
Your smile lights up
My dark night with wonder
Alliteration of emotions
Metaphors of expressions
Swirl inside and spiral
Ripple across to touch me
In ways I never thought possible
Your dark mystery opens
And without warning
I surrender
Shyness slips away
And you take my heart
With your beautiful eyes
Where beauty breathes openly.

As if called to your altar alone
Our night unveils each other
Your breeze cools
My body to relax
You awaken my skin
To want to touch you
Across the distance of miles
And embrace your feeling
Circle in affection
All your heart in motion
The muscles of your body
Pressing your intimacy
Closer to me
With passion and purity
Releasing your lioness
And making love roar!
