Analysis of Memoir 086

My Love
I ask myself each night what is love without you
I ask myself each night what is the sky without the stars
I ask myself each night what is the sea without the land

You are the soil to my field
The Sun to my sky
The waves to my Ocean
The moon to my stars
The piece of my soul

I sometimes question whether we will meet now or later on
In this lifetime or the next

But fate has a way of giving you things when you least expect them

Maybe one of the tomorrows will bring you to my doorstep

Maybe my words would one day just lead you towards me

Maybe just maybe I will be the N on your compass, some day

Sometimes I wish that was all I have to say but....

At the end of the day I just have paint in hand, but no canvas

At the end of the day I just have a pen in hand, but no paper

At the end of the day I just have a cutter in hand, but no clay

At the end of the day I just have letters for you in hand, but no you
